Why HYDRIST?

As someone with reactive skin (eczema, psoriasis) and a lifelong vegan, I’ve been formulating skincare since before clean beauty was a category.

I couldn’t find products that aligned with my values or delivered consistent, reliable, outstanding performance.

And really, who doesn’t want that?

Enter HYDRIST, a brand idea I kept coming back to, even after setting it aside for other ventures. I chose to bring my passions together, and the focus was clear: recovery and hydration. Something all skin needs.

So I refined complementary formulations, built the manufacturing expertise, and created the skincare line I had been searching for all along.

Product Development

Daily, frequent use of traditional hypochlorous acid can be overly drying and may compromise the skin's moisture barrier over time. This could cause the benefits of hypochlorous acid to be diminished or overlooked.

We developed a high-performing, skin-compatible formulation, manufactured in-house using our proprietary technology.

This is hypochlorous acid, elevated.

The result is Recover, a balanced, hydrating hypochlorous skin mist designed for daily use. Without compromise.
